All tax parcels (except commercial properties) have a $52.00 charge on them listed as Recycling Special Assessment. This charge is for recycling services including, but not limited to, use of Scotty Landscape drop-off site for branches, leaves, etc.; use of the Town's chipping service during the months of April, May, September & October and disposal of weekly recycling picked up by Advanced Disposal. This is an annual charge placed on tax bills due to offset the rising cost of these services.
