ACH Payment:  Flat fee of $1.00 per transaction

2024 Tax Collection for the Town of Sheboygan

The Town Hall office will be closed for the Holidays on Monday December 25th, and January 1st. 

The first installment tax payments are due January 31st, 2024.  For accounting reasons, we do not accept combined payments for taxes, dog licenses, and sewer/water payments. They must be paid separately. Taxes can only be paid by check. Dog licenses and sewer/water payments can be check or cash. All payments after February 1st, 2024, must be made at Sheboygan County’s Treasurer's Office.

Other options are available for making your tax payment:

In-person: Stop at the Town Hall Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tuesday we have extended hours until 5:00 pm. We are closed on Fridays. You will receive a receipt at the time of your payment.

2nd option: Pay your taxes at Wisconsin Bank & Trust. There are two locations:

  • 4210 Highway 42 North-Mon-Fri 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Lobby and Drive thru are available.
  • 655 S. Taylor Drive-Mon-Fri 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Lobby and Drive thru are available.

Both banks will issue a cashier’s check if you have an overpayment of $250 or more.

If your overpayment is $249 or less, they will give you cash back.

After Hours: Drop your payment in our secure drop box in front of the Town Hall Office, 4020 Technology Parkway, drop box is emptied daily. If you want a receipt, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  The drop box at 1512 N 40th St will be discontinued as of December 31st, 2023

By Mail: Send your payment to the Town of Sheboygan, 4020 Technology Parkway, Sheboygan, WI 53083. If you want a receipt, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

As in past years, the second installment payments are due by July 31st, 2024. And must be made payable to the Sheboygan County Treasurers' Office.

The Town Hall office will open at 7:00 am on January 2nd, 2024, and resume normal hours.
